Turnigy LCD Tachometer V2 for Helicopters 800~4200RPM and Airplane Props 0~20000RPM (AU Warehouse)
Description
The Turnigy LCD Tachometer is a high-tech measurement device that is used for determining RPM of just about any rotating object. It is ideal for use in measuring head speed of your helicopter main rotor blades, airplane propellers, calibrating timing belts, dynamic balancing calibration for flywheels, vibration frequency measurements and more!
What makes this device unique is the method by which it takes the RPM measurement. Traditional optical tachometers utilize a motor-driven shutter which takes time to match the set rpm due to its need to physically change speed. As a result, traditional style optical tachs are only accurate to about +/-10RPM. This is where the Turnigy LCD Tachometer differs. It utilizes a high-speed electronic LCD shutter to measure RPM. This method is much faster and more accurate. This makes for virtually no delay when changing the RPM setting and provides an accuracy within +/-1RPM. It even offers adjustable aperture settings to allow for use in just about any lighting condition!
The all new Turnigy LCD Tachometer V2 adds a light sensor for measuring RPM of airplane propellers. This new feature expands the RPM measurement range of airplane props up to 20,000RPM. It is capable of measuring 2~5 blade propellers.
Using the Turnigy LCD Tachometer couldn't be easier. Simply hold the device while observing the target through the viewing window. Adjust the RPM value on the device with the "+" and "-" buttons until the object appears motionless. Once the object appears static through the viewing window, the RPM then matches that which is displayed on the device's LCD display screen.
